The beautiful Pont D'Arcole is one of the most unique bridges in Paris, and one of only a few with such intricate wrought-iron design. 
 
I met this Dixieland Jazz Band at a most unexpected moment whilst traipsing across, from the Right Bank to the Left.  The sheer joy this music brought to the public on a cold winter afternoon was something to behold.  Few people have embraced the jazz and blues quite like the French,  outside of its birthplace.
This is a tribute to "Votre Orchestre de Jazz" or La Planche a Dixie.
